India and Italy have unveiled a comprehensive five-year strategic action plan for 2025-2029, following discussions between Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Giorgia Meloni at the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro. The plan focuses on enhancing cooperation across 10 key areas, including defence, trade, clean energy, space exploration, and technology. Both leaders committed to fostering deeper ties through joint initiatives, co-production, and regular ministerial dialogues. The plan also emphasizes collaboration on global platforms, such as the Global Biofuels Alliance and the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor. This strategic partnership aims to strengthen economic, cultural, and technological links for mutual benefit.
